The second episode in the Astrology 101 Art Journal video series covers the four elements of the zodiac. Each zodiac sign relates to one of the classical elements of fire, earth, air, and water. Learn about the qualities of these elements. We’ll also make connections with the chakras, the energy centers within your body and how they relate to the classical elements. If you have Kathryn Costa’s chakra stencils, you can pull those out for more play time in your journal.

Project 1 – Create a zodiac chart for each of the classical elements – fire, earth, air, and water using Kathryn’s Zodiac Chart stencil.
- Fire: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius
- Earth: Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn
- Air: Gemini, Libra, Aquarius
- Water: Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces
Project 2 – Create a journal page for each classical element. Take notes about the qualities of each element. Get creative! Make connections with the chakras.
- Fire: Solar Plexus Chakra
- Earth: Root Chakra
- Air: Throat Chakra
- Water: Sacral Chakra
