I have a new place where I’m playing these days.
It’s in a recycled catalogue dedicated to my chakra journey.
Pictured above is a peek at the first pages for the sacral chakra section.
I like to work intuitively, picking out images from magazines that grab my attention. It’s often not until after I’ve glued everything down and look back a couple days later that I see little signs and messages.
Here an image of a flute player is entertaining a camel. Can you imagine the sounds of the camel’s laughter?
It dawned on me that I’m the flute player here. I recently ordered a flute to be made and I’m eagerly awaiting word from the flute maker when it’s ready to pick up. Although it is a different style flute than what we see pictured here, the flute playing theme is the same.
Perhaps my calling is to be a Pied Piper of sorts inviting others to leave their limiting beliefs behind to follow the call to dream, play, laugh, and enjoy the moment?
I find the Dalai Lama’s little laugh infectious. When I see this smiling face in my journal, I’m reminded to lighten up and show myself and others loving-kindness, gentleness, warmth, and compassion.
The playfulness of the word YESNESS is an invitation to say yes to whatever feels fun in the moment.
The sea turtle reminds us to relax and go with the flow.
I played with some new colored pencils to bring an energizing color palette to this sacral chakra mandala. Stay tuned for a new product video coming soon that features two different types of colored pencils.
Do you want more fun, play, and delight in your life?
When you awaken the sacral chakra, you’ll tap into creative joy.
I saw how the participants in last week’s Sacral Chakra Retreat really needed this time to connect with their creative spirit. Many shared how they have long forgotten how to play and tend not to make time for creativity.
Here’s some of what participants love about my Sacral Chakra Retreat:
- Receiving the beautiful envelope in their mail box brought them delight. Yes, you get real mail when you sign up for these online workshops.
- Synchronicity struck again and again in the messages they received during the soul journey guided meditation and reading their oracle card that they received.
- The featured animal ally, the dolphin, inspired them to paint, collage, sew, doodle, and color.
- And, I loved seeing the meaningful and heartfelt connections participants shared with each other as they talked about their experiences.
What I’m realizing now more than ever, is that it’s my calling to help others to wake up their creativity and remember how to play. Life is too short not to live joyfully. We can bring that sense of playfulness and creativity to even the most mundane of tasks. It’s what living a joyful life is all about.
After the retreat on Friday night, I looked at my calendar and set a date to offer this experience again in March. Here are the details if you’d like to join me.
If you can’t attend live, you get instant access to the presentation and soul journey recordings and invitations to future online retreats. If you are too shy to participate live. That’s okay too. You can buy the workshop and enjoy it at your leisure.
Here’s to waking up the muses and finding delight and joy each day.
