Root Chakra by Linda Ness
Linda’s Mandala Story:
As I was creating the root chakra mandala, I recognized my resistance to using the color red, which I rarely use in my art. Later during the day, I remembered as a small child a comment my dad (very dysfunctional) made that we girls were not allowed to wear lipstick and especially red…because it was for whores… Sad but true. I love the fact that I can acknowledge that and let that go…..after all these years. I’m excited to learn more about the chakras.
