The Full Moon in Sagittarius on June 11, 2025 can definitely bring a sense of urgency or restlessness when we feel we’ve fallen short of our dreams. It shines a light on the gap between where we are and where we thought we’d be, stirring up longing, existential questions, or even grief over unlived potential.
But here’s where Gemini—Sagittarius’s opposite and complement—can lovingly step in as a grounding, balancing force.
How Gemini Supports the Weight of Sagittarius’ Visionary Longing
While Sagittarius dreams big, seeks truth, and longs for meaning and expansion…
Gemini reminds us:
“Start where you are. With curiosity. With conversation. With one small step.”

Gemini’s Gifts for Navigating Sagittarius Full Moon Energy
1. Embrace the Present Moment
Where Sagittarius is focused on the horizon, Gemini brings us back to what’s here.
→ It says: “Let’s observe, notice, and learn from what’s around us.”
2. Lighten the Mood with Curiosity
Sagittarius asks big questions about life’s purpose. Gemini asks: “What if we just explored this idea for fun?”
→ Curiosity can loosen the grip of pressure and invite play back into the process.
3. Take Micro-Steps Toward Big Dreams
Gemini is all about daily movement—reading an article, journaling an idea, talking to a friend.
→ These small connections and actions build momentum toward Sagittarius’ grand visions.
4. Communicate and Connect
When Sagittarius feels isolated in its spiritual seeking, Gemini says:
→ “Talk it out. Ask questions. Start a dialogue.”
We don’t have to find all the answers alone.
5. Be Flexible with the Path
Sagittarius wants to know the destination. Gemini is comfortable wandering.
→ This energy teaches us that the path isn’t always straight—and that’s okay.
A Reframe for This Full Moon
Instead of asking:
“Why haven’t I reached my goal yet?”
Try asking (with Gemini’s help):
“What can I learn or try today that brings me a little closer?”
“What sparks my curiosity right now?”
“What conversation or connection might bring a new perspective?”
Let Sagittarius hold the big vision, and let Gemini guide the small, joyful steps toward it.

Mandala Practice: Merging Gemini and Sagittarius
This full moon, I did something different with my mandala practice. Instead of starting from scratch, I revisited the Gemini new moon mandala I made a couple of weeks ago and added a Sagittarius-inspired ring around it. This layering beautifully mirrors the way these two signs balance each other—Gemini’s curiosity and Sagittarius’s quest for meaning.
Here’s how I created it:
1. Creating the Sagittarius Ring
I used my Throat Chakra Mandala Stencil to trace two concentric circles. This formed a wide ring that surrounds the throat chakra design at the center and gives space for new imagery.
2. Sagittarius Motifs
Inside the ring, I doodled:
- The Sagittarius glyph (the upward-pointing arrow)
- A collection of stars in different sizes and styles
- The Jupiter glyph, since Jupiter is Sagittarius’s ruling planet
3. Coloring the Energy
I used yellow colored pencil to fill in and around each symbol, giving the shapes a luminous glow. Then I shaded the background with violet, creating a vibrant contrast that feels both joyful and spiritual.
4. Cut and Layer
After cutting out the Sagittarius ring, I placed it over the original Gemini mandala. I didn’t glue it down—I like the idea of keeping them separate so I can enjoy both versions, depending on the mood or moon phase.
5. Energizing the Mandala
To charge my intentions, I placed an angel-shaped Angelite crystal in the center and surrounded it with eight clear quartz wands, forming a simple crystal grid.

Notes from My Mandala Practice
- The Gemini symbols at each of the four gates still shine through, offering their wisdom as guides during this Sagittarius full moon. Their presence reminds me of the power of staying curious and open while navigating deeper questions.
- Including Jupiter was intentional—a reminder of joy and expansion. This planet invites us to ask: Where am I focusing my attention? Worry tends to grow when it’s fed, but so does joy. Choose joy.
- The angel crystal at the center holds a special meaning. Earlier today, I had a heartfelt conversation at the salon with a woman who shared a message from her morning devotional—it was all about releasing worry and trusting. That simple, spirit-filled exchange felt like a divine nod to this very post and filled me with peace as I wrapped up writing it.
