This Cancer New Moon on June 25, 2025, offers the perfect opportunity to slow down, set soulful intentions, and nurture what matters most: home, family, and your emotional well-being.
In the slow days of summer, the New Moon in Cancer gives us a natural pause—a chance to check in with what feels supportive, comforting, and aligned. Cancer is ruled by the Moon and connected to our need for safety, belonging, and emotional nourishment.
Now is a beautiful time to:
- Reconnect with your creative spark
- Reimagine what “home” means to you
- Create space for quiet and intentional rest

Create a Mandala with the Four Gates + Sacral Chakra
Begin your mandala by creating a base with the Four Gates Mandala Stencil. Use each quadrant of the mandala to explore one of the Four Gates of self-awareness:
- Gate of Earth (Body) – How can you nurture your physical needs or space this season?
- Gate of Air (Mind) – What thoughts or beliefs about home, family, or care are ready to soften?
- Gate of Water (Emotions) – Where can you offer deeper compassion—to yourself or a loved one?
- Gate of Fire (Spirit) – What spiritual practices help you feel connected and safe?
Within the sacred structure of the Four Gates, turn your attention to the center. Here, trace the Sacral Chakra Mandala, letting your pencil follow the rhythmic curves of the lotus petals. As you move slowly and intentionally, let your breath mirror the motion—steady, gentle, and fluid. This meditative tracing invites you into a state of emotional openness and creative flow, echoing the watery essence of both the sacral chakra and Cancer’s lunar energy.

Creative Prompt
Choose a color palette inspired by the sacral chakra and the watery nature of Cancer—think peach, soft coral, gentle pinks, moonlit silver, and sea blues. Let your hand move intuitively. There’s no need to plan—just allow.
You might include:
- Shapes or symbols of home (hearth, shells, nests, or hearts)
- Glyphs of Cancer and moon
- Words or phrases that feel nurturing
- Visual elements that express comfort, warmth, or emotional connection
As you work, bring your breath into the process. Let this be a meditative experience, not a task.
Reflect & Set Intentions
Once your mandala is complete, take time to journal. Ask yourself:
- What helps me feel at home—physically, emotionally, spiritually?
- Where can I simplify and soften in the month ahead?
- What do I want to nurture?
Write your intentions clearly and place your mandala somewhere visible as a gentle reminder. I pull out my seashells, sand dollars, and starfish to surround my Cancer mandala. Moonstone, pearl, rose quartz, citrine are among the gemstones associated with Cancer.
The New Moon is a quiet beginning, the perfect time to plant seeds of care, creativity, and connection. This Cancer moon reminds us that home is not just a place—it’s a feeling. And it’s one we can cultivate from the inside out.
