Cacao & Chakra Journey
On a beautiful Sunday afternoon, a circle of open hearts gathered at Hearth Magick in Peterborough, New Hampshire for our Cacao & Chakra Journey: Releasing Fear, Restoring Flow. What unfolded over the course of the afternoon was a powerful blend of reflection, movement, creativity, and connection.
Gathering in Circle
Together we created a nurturing space to explore where fear lives in the body, how it shapes our experiences, and how we can gently release it. Through ceremony, guided meditation, somatic practices, and mandala creation, participants were invited to reconnect with their inner wisdom and restore a sense of flow.

Our journey began with a heart-opening cacao ceremony, inviting participants to slow down, arrive fully in the moment, and set intentions for the afternoon. The warmth of cacao helped open the heart and create a sense of grounding and connection within the group.
Through gentle somatic exercises, participants were invited to observe their bodies with curiosity and compassion. These movements created space to notice where sensations, tension, or openness might be present.
The guided meditation continued this exploration by bringing breath and attention to each chakra. Participants practiced becoming a sacred observer, noticing what arose in their thoughts, emotions, body, and spirit as awareness moved through each energy center.

Alongside these experiential practices, we explored the foundational understanding of what chakras are and the qualities associated with each one. Participants learned how to choose a chakra they wished to work with based on what was arising for them during the afternoon.

During the mandala-making portion of the gathering, each participant created a mandala focused on the chakra they felt called to explore. They also received a heart chakra stencil to take home, along with instructions for creating their own personal rituals so they can continue working with the chakras through mandala practice.
