Today is the full moon in Capricorn! In my last Reflections by Moonlight post, I shared how I had been feeling the tug of this moon—the critical internal thoughts that echo Capricorn’s high standards and sense of responsibility.

Once I acknowledged those thoughts through journaling and shared them here, something shifted. With the gentle encouragement of Cancer, Capricorn’s opposite, I softened. And then, true to form, my inner Virgo stepped in—ready to plan, organize, and get things done. Capricorn and Virgo, both earth signs, understand each other. They work well together when building something meaningful.

Many of you who have followed me for years will remember my website, 100 Mandalas. It was named after the 100 Mandala Challenge. Truth be told, I never loved the name but didn’t have a better one at the time. After a five-year break from my passion projects and online offerings, I returned in January with renewed energy and clarity.

Now, six months in, I’m taking stock of what I’ve accomplished and mapping out what’s next.

One of the big shifts underway is a rebrand. You may have noticed the new True North Arts logo and color palette—earthy neutrals chosen to let the vibrant artwork take center stage. Behind the scenes, I’ve been configuring the website to better support our creative community and new course offerings.

This week, I had fun creating a simple bird’s-eye view of the next six months. It can be easy, especially for us Virgos, to get caught in the weeds. Sometimes we need to zoom out and see the bigger picture.

Capricorn energy reminds us to build a solid foundation—step by step, with patience and discipline. She teaches that success isn’t a sudden leap but the result of steady commitment. Lately, I’ve been following her lead by taking one small step each morning toward my online relaunch. This week, for example, I’ve been collecting artwork from participants of the Summer Solstice event to create a gallery PDF to share with all of you. As each piece comes in, I add it. Simple. Steady. Joyful.

The light of the full moon acts like a spotlight, illuminating where we stand. It may be a time to celebrate how far we’ve come—or a time of honest reflection, a nudge to recommit to our goals or pivot in a new direction.

Tonight, the Capricorn full moon is shining brightly. For me, it brings clarity and a renewed sense of purpose. The insecurities that surfaced earlier this week have given way to grounded enthusiasm and a more strategic outlook.
