For this new moon, I’ve chosen the Third-Eye Chakra as the theme for our mandala work. Its energy resonates beautifully with Aquarius, awakening intuition and insight. During a new moon, when the sky is enveloped in darkness, our external vision takes a back seat, and we’re invited to lean into our inner knowing. The Third-Eye Chakra connects us to that sixth sense, guiding us when the path ahead feels unclear.

Taking a Creative Leap

In the spirit of trying something new, I decided to play with watercolor—a medium I’ve dabbled in but never fully explored. When I discovered OOly’s circular watercolor block, a 10-inch canvas in the shape of a circle, I felt inspired to take the leap. As someone who loves working large, this watercolor paper was a delight to work with.

When I saw what Catherine Desjeunes, a long-time member of our online community was doing, I wanted to share her work with you.
