I’m so delighted to share a very special gift with you: the Hamsa Coloring Book from TrueNorthArts.com.
This collection brings together the creativity of 39 artists from 11 countries and 17 states in the US, each contributing a unique hamsa design for you to color. To complete the set, you’ll also find a blank template so you can create your own—the 40th hamsa design in the collection.

About the Hamsa Symbol
The hamsa is a familiar open palm symbol found in many traditions around the world.
- When the fingers are pointing upward, it represents protection.
- When the palm is open and the fingers are pointing downward, it is seen as a symbol of blessings.
Because this hand symbol is shared among Jewish, Muslim, and Christian faiths, the hamsa has also become a universal emblem of peace.

Spreading Blessings for Peace and Joy
This coloring book was first created back in 2016 when members of the 100 Mandalas Community were invited to design hamsa coloring pages. Each artist was asked to think of you—the person downloading and coloring this book.
Imagine:
- People all around the globe creating art for this project, each sending wishes of peace and joy your way.
- More people like you downloading it, receiving these blessings, and finding relaxation and delight as they color.
- A growing circle of peace and joy spreading across the world through art.

Coming Soon in September 2026!
Celebrating 10 Years of The Mandala Guidebook
To celebrate this milestone, I’ll be launching a special anniversary series featuring some of the most beloved topics from the past decade, along with new ideas I’ve been wanting to explore.
You can look forward to:
- Fan-favorite mandala drawing techniques
- Sacred geometry demonstrations
- Product reviews and artist tool comparisons
- Creative practices and insights from years of teaching and drawing mandalas
- New video content on YouTube
- Gifts designed to spark your creativity and mandala practice
Some of these topics will revisit old favorites, while others will explore techniques and ideas that never quite made it into the book.
I’m especially excited about returning to the foundations of sacred geometry and sharing practical demonstrations that artists can immediately put to use in their own creative practice.
About Kathryn Costa
Hello, I’m Kathryn Costa from New Hampshire, USA.
In 2014, I started the 100 Mandalas Challenge to explore the creative possibilities within a circle—and I discovered so much more. Creating mandalas is a powerful tool for relaxation, healing, and cultivating joy.
When I’m not creating mandalas, I enjoy collage, art journaling, astrology, and writing my blog series Traveling by Moonlight. I live in New England with my two cats, Milo and Sparrow.
You can also find my book, The Mandala Guidebook: How to Draw, Paint, and Color Expressive Mandala Art on Amazon, and my stencil designs at StencilGirl Products.
Brightest blessings,
Kathryn Costa
