This Gemini Full Moon on December 4, 2025 shines a light on curiosity, information, and the restless energy that pushes us to grow. I’ve been feeling Gemini’s influence in several areas of my life. Both in my day job and in my personal passion projects, I feel a restlessness and appetite for learning, growth and expansion – all qualities of Sagittarius, Gemini’s complement as seen in the Zodiac wheel. We’ll tune into Sagittarius energy at the new moon in a couple of weeks,
This week, let’s explore the space where lifelong learners feel in their element.

I’ve been feeding my curiosity in my spiritual life in recent weeks. With an interest in Tarot for nearly thirty years, I’d been thinking of doing a deeper dive on this subject when my new local metaphysical shop, Hearth Magick, announced a beginner Tarot class. My analytical nature, marked by a Stellium in Virgo in my natal chart, has delighted in laying out the cards from several decks studying the archetypal stories noting how the artists illustrate the themes rich with symbols. The best part of this study has been doing three or more readings a week and discovering how each spread tells a story about what is being asked and offers incredibly insightful and helpful messages.
The learning has’t stopped there. As part of my healing journey and an interest in shadow themes, I recently completed a three week class with the teachers who guided my astrology certification. The course explored the archetypes of Uranus, Pluto, and Neptune and how they relate to patterns around food, stress eating, and addiction. This study has been powerful and eye opening, and it has added another layer to the personal insight that often arises under a Full Moon.
Awakening Your Third Eye Chakra
All of this feels aligned with the energy of Gemini, which encourages us to follow the threads of our curiosity and notice where our interests are trying to lead us. To support this process, I created a Third Eye Chakra mandala to focus my intentions around learning, research, and planning. The Third Eye Chakra invites clarity, intuition, and strategic thinking. It helps me center myself as I explore these subjects and discover what feels meaningful and aligned for the next chapter of my life.
Later, when I am ready to express and communicate what I am learning, I will turn to a Throat Chakra mandala. For now, this Full Moon is helping me gather information, trust my insight, and pay attention to what excites my mind. Curiosity is showing me the way forward.

Tarot Connection
Alongside my Third Eye Chakra mandala, I selected three Tarot cards that capture the themes and energies of my intention for this Full Moon. I chose the Nine of Cups from the Crow Tarot, the High Priestess from the Light Seers Tarot, and the Chariot from the Robin Wood Tarot. Each card adds another layer of insight and helps me understand what is unfolding within me.
Nine of Cups
The Nine of Cups is full of abundance. In the Crow Tarot, each cup is brimming with fruit, and one even holds fish. This card asks, “What will nourish you at this time?” Each cup can be viewed as the many ideas that are bubbling up at this time. The two keys and the lotus add more symbolism. They speak to the blossoming of my interests and remind me that I hold the keys to unlock new knowledge and mystery. This card affirms the richness of my curiosity and the joy I feel when I follow it.
High Priestess
The High Priestess encourages me to listen to my intuition and my inner wise self as I discern my next steps. She supports strategic planning that comes from a place of deep knowing rather than mental noise. Her presence in this trio reminds me to trust the insight that arises when I slow down, listen, and allow myself to tune in.
The Chariot
The Chariot helps balance the expansiveness of the Nine of Cups. I can easily get swept up in all the possibilities and lose my sense of direction. The Chariot calls me back to focus. The two horses symbolize the yin and yang energies within me. One represents the feminine intuitive process. The other represents the masculine logical and action oriented process. I need both, and I need them in harmony. This card helps me stay centered and on track as I move toward my goals.
Together, these cards tell a story of abundance, intuition, and aligned action. They show me how to approach this season of learning with both openness and focus. They also serve as beautiful reminders and a meaningful complement to my mandala art.

Create Your Own Third Eye Chakra Mandala
You can create a Third Eye Chakra mandala to support clarity, insight, and learning during this Gemini Full Moon. To begin, you will need the Four Gates Mandala stencil and the Third Eye Chakra stencil. Keep a notebook or journal nearby for your reflections.
Step One: Set your intention
Take a moment to reflect on what you want to understand more clearly. Choose one word that expresses this intention. Examples include clarity, insight, focus, or learning. Place this word in the center of your mandala when you trace the Third Eye Chakra symbol.
Step Two: Trace the foundation
Use the Four Gates Mandala stencil to create the overall structure tracing only the outer two borders to fit the Third Eye Chakra stencil in the center.
Step Three: Engage in mindful coloring
The petals around the Third Eye Chakra are small and delicate, which makes this a perfect time to slow down and work with color. As you fill in the mandala, notice where you feel restless. Restlessness often reveals places where you are ready for growth or change.
Notice also where you feel curious. Curiosity points toward subjects, skills, and experiences that want your attention.
The Third Eye Chakra is traditionally an indigo color. For my mandala, I added a touch of green to not only add interest but it also reflects the heart chakra. Pursuing interests that you love and bring you joy is another sign that you are on the right path.
Step Four: Capture your insights in your journal
When a thought or idea arises, pause and write it down in your journal.
Explore questions such as:
- Where am I feeling restless?
- What am I curious about right now?
- How can I feed this curiosity?
Feeding your curiosity may involve traditional learning such as a course, workshop, book, or online class. It may also mean reaching out to someone you know who has experience in this area. You might invite them to lunch and learn from their perspective. You may discover a list of skills you want to cultivate or experiences you want to collect. Allow these ideas to unfold naturally as you work.
Step Five: Activate the Four Gates
At each of the four gates, write one word that will support you as you pursue your intention like curiosity, discernment, discipline, and patience. Choose qualities that feel meaningful and helpful for the next steps in your learning journey.
Step Six: Close with reflection
When your mandala feels complete, take a moment to sit with it. Notice the colors, the energy, and any themes that emerged in your journal. Your mandala becomes a visual reminder of your commitment to your own growth and the learning that is calling to you.
May the energy of this full moon wet your appetite for learning. Where will your curiosity take you? Whether you create a mandala, explore another form of art, or reflect in your journal, I would love to hear what catches your attention. Leave a comment below to share your discoveries.
Coming Up at True North Arts
I’m excited for what’s next at True North Arts. Lately, I’ve been reflecting on my desire to nurture community with other soulful seekers, near and far. I considered opening an online forum like Mighty Networks but realized I don’t have the bandwidth to run it, even with volunteers. Rather than creating another wall for posts (that sounds so exhausting), I love the idea of meeting in real time.
Read on to learn what I’m designing for us in the next four months.

Are you participating in the 13 Wishes Ritual? Now is a wonderful time to get started if you haven’t already. Write down 13 wishes for the new year on slips of paper. At the Winter Solstice, l’m hosting a free online event to kick off the next step: burning one wish each day for 12 days to release them. On the 13th day, you will open the final wish, the one you will focus on in the coming year. The Winter Solstice celebration on December 21st includes a soul journey meditation and time to work on a Seed of Life mandala to honor 2025 and prepare to welcome the new year.
Come January, with your 13th wish in hand, you’ll be invited to capture this intention in a single word. On February 1st, participants in the Full Moon in Leo Gathering will receive their word for the year in a beautifully designed envelope in the mail.
March brings the Spring Equinox Celebration where participants will be invited to a community mandala project that weaves together our words for the year in a shared mandala. Participants will receive in the mail a beautifully designed envelope with a vinyl sticker of the 2026 Community Mandala tucked inside. How fun is this?
More details on how you can participate will be presented at the Winter Solstice Gathering. I hope you can make it!

Thank you so much for this post. It touched a deep part of me, very similar to what I am experiencing on my own personal journey. It’s so beautiful to see how connected we all are. I’ve been following my curiosity for weeks now taking some classes on the topics that have touched my soul during my time in Mexico, and also offering a few workshops on Ojo de Dios and Pom Poms at the social center of the campus where we live.
After reading your post, I immediately started reflecting and journaling, and now I’m sitting down to begin my mandala.
Reading about what you are creating to nurture seekers near and far made me feel so happy, excited, and grateful. I would truly love to participate in the 13 Wishes Ritual. Thank you for being there, and thank you for guiding me/us on this journey. You make it more mystical and more fun through your art, your presence, and the light you spread through your inspirations.
Big hugs from Istanbul
I know that one day our paths will cross in person. It is destiny. Until then I’m so grateful for technology bringing us together. I have no doubt that your process for writing your 13 wishes will be magical. I look forward to celebrating at the Winter Solstice and kicking off our release of those wishes. Thank you for your lovely note. It is great to know that my blog post is reaching kindred spirits like you.
