A shared creative ritual for intention, connection, and collective vision
The True North Arts Community Mandala is a collaborative art experience that brings individual intentions into a single, meaningful expression. Each participant contributes one piece, and together those pieces form a mandala that reflects the shared spirit of the year ahead.
This is both a personal practice and a community offering. You work quietly with your own intention, then release it into a larger whole. The result is something no one could create alone.

A Project with Roots
The Community Mandala Project is not new. It was first offered in 2014 and continued through 2018, during which time hundreds of individual pieces came together to form powerful collective works.
These early Community Mandalas became deeply meaningful touchstones for participants, offering a sense of connection, reflection, and shared intention year after year.
After a pause, this beloved project is being brought back for 2026, honoring its original spirit while meeting the moment we are in now.

What This Experience is…
This project invites you to choose a word for 2026 and give it form through color, symbol, and mindful attention.
After you register, you will receive a piece of the mandala by email on February 14, 2026. You will print it at home, color it and inscribe it with your chosen word for the year.
Once complete, you will return your piece either by scanning and emailing it back or by mailing the original. All contributions are then carefully assembled into a single Community Mandala.
The completed mandala is revealed during the Spring Equinox Gathering, a seasonal celebration honoring balance, renewal, and forward momentum.
Mandala work has long been used as a centering and clarifying practice. When created in community, it becomes something more.
Your individual intention is witnessed and held alongside others. Patterns emerge. Energy builds. The collective image becomes a visual blessing for the year ahead.
This project offers
- A grounded way to set intentions for 2026
- A sense of belonging through shared ritual
- A creative practice that is accessible and meaningful
- A tangible reminder that your vision is part of something larger

The Spring Equinox Gathering
The Spring Equinox marks a moment of balance between light and dark and the true turning toward growth. It is an ideal time to reveal the completed mandala and reflect on what is ready to emerge.
Details for the gathering will be shared with registered participants.
