New Moon in Sagittarius
December 20, 2025
Theme: Expansion
During the Full Moon in Gemini earlier this season, you may have felt an itch for change or a restlessness that asked to be acknowledged. Gemini stirred the mind with questions and possibilities. Now the New Moon in Sagittarius invites you to aim beyond the familiar and expand your horizons.
Sagittarius asks a simple but powerful question: What do you desire?
Sagittarius teaches us to listen to the body as an internal GPS. This guidance system speaks through energy rather than logic. Notice when your energy contracts, when you feel yourself shrinking, playing small, or lowering expectations. Then notice the opposite. Where do you feel expansion, excitement, possibility, and a lift in your energy?
Pay attention to your thoughts as well. Observe moments when limiting beliefs surface or when you hesitate to imagine something bigger for yourself. Sagittarius encourages you to stop focusing only on the next small step and instead embrace a larger vision.
Earlier this fall, the Full Moon in Taurus illuminated themes of self-worth and value. It asked us to consider what we believe we deserve. Now Sagittarius steps in with a clear message: own who you are. Pick up the arrow. Aim higher. Shoot for the stars.
As the year comes to a close, this New Moon offers an ideal moment to reflect on what you want to change, explore, and experience in 2026.

Torus Yantra Mandala Activity
To support this expansive energy, I invite you to work with a Torus Yantra Mandala.
The Torus Yantra illustrates the energetic pattern of the heart. Research from the HeartMath Institute shows that the heart generates a much stronger energetic field than the brain alone. When heart and brain are in coherence and aligned with positive intention, manifestation becomes significantly more powerful. We’ll take a closer look at the Torus at the Full Moon in Leo Gathering on February 1, 2025.
To begin working with these energies now before we meet up in February, create a Torus Yantra Mandala using my YouTube tutorial. As you draw and color your mandala, reflect on what you desire to call into your life. Notice where you feel yourself holding back or where self-doubt arises, as well as what energizes you and sparks excitement. Afterward, take a few moments to journal your observations—this awareness becomes part of the medicine. This video includes a collection of gorgeous and unique expressions of the Torus Yantra.
Journal Prompts
Sagittarius New Moon Reflection
- Where in my life do I feel an itch for change or expansion right now?
- What desire keeps returning, even when I try to ignore it?
- Where do I notice my energy shrinking or contracting? What thoughts or beliefs accompany that feeling?
- Where do I feel expansion, excitement, or a sense of possibility in my body?
- If I allowed myself to imagine bigger than feels comfortable, what vision begins to take shape?
Listening to the Body as an Inner Compass
- How does my body signal yes to me? How does it signal no?
- What activities, people, or ideas naturally raise my energy?
- What patterns or situations consistently drain it?
- What would change if I trusted my body’s wisdom more fully?

Winter Solstice to Spring Equinox Journey
To support you in creating your best year yet, I am hosting a series of events between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox.
At the Winter Solstice Gathering, our focus will be on honoring and completing 2025. Participants may arrive with their 13 wishes already written, or choose to write them during the gathering.
Through a guided meditation, you will release what you are ready to let go of and reflect on the lessons the year has offered. We will then move into a Seed of Life mandala activity designed to integrate and honor your experiences from 2025. This mandala becomes a visual celebration of where you said yes, where you grew, and how those experiences shaped you, creating space for welcoming the new year.
Beginning on the Winter Solstice, you burn one wish each day for 12 days without reading them, a practice of trust and surrender. On January 1st, the thirteenth wish is opened and kept—your one intention to guide and inspire you throughout 2026.
Full Moon in Leo: Roar Your Desire
How often have you set a New Year’s Intention or a word for the year only to forget it? Together, we’ll set these intentions in motion on the Full Moon in Leo, February 1, 2026, when the energy naturally shifts from reflection to action. Leo invites you to roar your desire, to claim it boldly, and put your intention into motion. This is the moment to move beyond quiet hope and embody the confidence, courage, and playfulness that propels manifestation forward.
During this live online gathering you’ll see how the Torus Yantra that we draw is a 2-d representation of the heart’s energy pattern and learn about heart-brain coherence as a manifestation tool. You will receive a beautifully prepared envelope in the mail containing your one wish and its corresponding one word. During the event, you will not only learn about coherence, you will experience it firsthand through a guided meditation designed to anchor your intention at a cellular level.
The next step of our journey continues with an invitation to participate in the 2026 Community Mandala Project, a shared creative experience that weaves individual intentions into a collective field.
Registration details for all events are found on this page.
I’ll close this blog post with this affirmation from Sagittarius:
I trust the wisdom of my heart and the truth of my desire. I give myself permission to expand beyond old limits and claim a vision worthy of who I am becoming. With courage and clarity, I take inspired action and allow my light to be seen.
I hope we can connect on the Winter Solstice and again in the New Year.
Brightest blessings to you!
